Last call to save up to $50,000 on a Capriotti’s franchise in our 50th anniversary year
Capriotti’s 50-50-50 franchise incentive ends on December 31, 2026. Qualified new franchise partners who sign before then get 50% off the initial franchise fee and 50% off royalties for up to 24 months, worth up to $50,000 in potential savings. When our anniversary year ends, so does the offer.
If you’ve been thinking about owning a sandwich shop, this is the moment to start the conversation.
What the 50-50-50 incentive includes
- 50% off the initial franchise fee, so it costs less to get started.
- 50% off royalties for up to 24 months, during the months when you’re building your team and your customer base.
- Up to $50,000 in potential savings for qualified new franchise partners.
The incentive is open to new franchise partners, and terms and qualifications apply.
Why you should start now, not in December
Becoming a franchise owner takes a few steps, and they take time. You’ll have an introductory call with our team, review our FDD, talk with our current franchise owners and meet our leadership at Discovery Day before you sign. Most people go from first inquiry to signed agreement within a few months.
That’s why the time to reach out is now. Starting today gives you room to do your homework properly and still sign before December 31.
Start the conversation with our franchise team
Built by franchisees. Built for franchisees.
Here’s what makes Capriotti’s different from every other sandwich franchise you’ll look at: the people running the company sat where you’re sitting. Our CEO, Ashley Morris, and our President, Jason Smylie, both started as Capriotti’s franchisees before they bought the company in 2008. They built The Capriotti’s Way, our training and support for people who have never run a restaurant, because they remember what that first year felt like. The promise behind it is simple: you’ve already proven you can win, and we’ll teach you the restaurant.
“Every facet of this business has a system and a resource designed to support our franchise partners and help them achieve their desired results,” said Morris.
Our training runs in phases before you open, and our on-site trainers stay with you for up to 45 days after your doors open. After that, you have a dedicated field support person, marketing support, and a team that answers the phone.
Fifty years of sandwiches people go out of their way for
Capriotti’s started in 1976 as a neighborhood sandwich shop in Wilmington, Delaware, opened by siblings Alan and Lois Margolet. Fifty years later, we currently have shops open in 33 states with 285 shops open or in development.
The food is still the reason guests come back. We roast whole turkeys in-house and build our menu around signature sandwiches like The Bobbie®, our Thanksgiving-style sandwich with turkey, stuffing, and cranberry. Guests also return for favorites like the Classic Cheesesteak, the Capastrami®, and the Classic Italian.
“If you think about where this idea started and where it is today, it’s pretty extraordinary,” said Ashley Morris, CEO of Capriotti’s. “That our product was so accepted and loved by customers that it afforded the company the opportunity to grow across the country.”
Who does well with Capriotti’s
Our franchise owners come from many backgrounds: corporate and professional leadership, hospitality, the military, their own businesses, other franchises, and some started as fans of the food. What they share isn’t a résumé. They believe in our values, follow The Capriotti’s Way instead of reinventing it, stay involved in their business, listen, keep learning, and want to beat the average.
If that sounds like you, we’d like to hear your story, and the 50-50-50 incentive makes this the best time to tell it.

Q: Is a sandwich franchise a good business to own? It can be a very good fit. Capriotti’s started with one shop in Wilmington, Delaware, in 1976 and has grown to 285 shops open or in development. The best way to know whether it fits you is to talk with the people already doing it, and we’re happy to connect you with our franchise owners. Read More: Our Franchise Owners · Our Industry
