A Las Vegas-Based Sandwich Empire Has Big Plans for Chicago

Capriotti’s Sandwich Shop, the Las Vegas-based chain that opened its first Chicago location in October has big plans for this market. The company intends on opening a second shop in December at 170 Aberdeen St. in Fulton Market, according to a spokeswoman. The company described that openings as the first phase of larger expansion. Capriotti’s claims there is room for 30 Capriotti’s restaurants in the Chicago and suburbs over the next five years.
